Rest • Reflect • Renew
To honour the longest night of the year and the gradual return of light, we invite you to an evening of slowing down and reflecting on the significance of the winter solstice.
Our ancestors revered this time of year as the rebirth of the sun and the triumph of light over darkness. In the modern world, we have lost our connection to that meaning. Commercialism has taken center stage, leading to full calendars, financial pressure, stress, and exhaustion, while also becoming a time when difficult family dynamics and grief often come to the surface. By turning our attention to how this ancient tradition was celebrated, we can reclaim this time of year as a sacred pause - a chance to reconnect, reset, and release what we've been carrying.
What We'll Explore
Exploring themes of inner stillness, renewal, and hope, this workshop will include introspection, breathwork, gentle movement, and restorative yoga. All parts of the practice will be optional, allowing you to take what serves you and leave the rest. Modifying or sitting out any part is always welcome.
You will be guided in a conscious space with respect for individual differences, held by calming music, soft lighting, and greenery.
Our intention is that you leave feeling more grounded, connected, and rested.
