About Vanessa

Vanessa began her yoga journey in 2009 after a back injury left her unable to engage in many of her usual activities. What started as a once-a-week practice quickly blossomed into a life-changing passion. Twelve years of teaching and countless yoga trainings later, Vanessa has evolved into a bilingual yoga teacher and facilitator dedicated to fostering inclusive, heart-centered spaces for growth and connection.

Her teachings blend movement, mindfulness, and conscious activism, offering Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra, and meditation practices that are both grounding and empowering. Deeply influenced by her work with Off the Mat, Into the World®, Vanessa weaves social justice and community-building into her classes, believing that yoga extends beyond the mat and into the world.

Known for her ability to create accessible practices for all levels, Vanessa offers variations that allow students to move in ways that support their unique bodies. Whether in studios, offices, or private settings, she uses her years of experience to provide thoughtful guidance and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Vanessa’s classes are energetic, light-hearted, and often infused with stories, poems, music, and books that have touched her heart. She believes in the power of music to quiet the mind and open the heart, and her warm sense of humor ensures that students leave feeling connected, inspired, and uplifted.
