About Sarah

Sarah enjoys many different types of movement and loves sharing it with others. Growing up as an alpine ski racer, she developed a strong sense of the body’s physical capabilities. Sarah tried yoga a few different times in her life, but really started to connect with the practice in her thirties. Through yoga, she learned we can move the body in order to still the mind. Sarah also discovered that a regular yoga practice helps us better manage the inevitable challenges of life. Her intention for the classes she leads is simply to hold space for others, knowing the profound potential of that simple act.

Sarah has completed her 200-hour teacher training, as well as a 40-hour restorative yoga training. She is currently pursuing additional professional development in order to expand her offerings. Sarah is honoured to be a member of the Shakti team, believing wholeheartedly in its mission and values.
