About Razane

Razane came to yoga in 2013 looking for a way to be in her body that was physical and creative, without any of the competition. She's been on the mat ever since.

Originally from Beirut, she moved to Montréal in 2018 and found her footing through community. The studios she walked into became her anchor, offering the same kind of respite she'd known back home. There was a familiarity on the mat that served as a reminder that wherever she is in the world, she can always come back to this practice.

An explorer of many things, Razane has wandered through landscape architecture, public art, photography, strategic foresight, and innovation consulting, with yoga running quietly alongside all of it. She's drawn to systems, to the spaces between things, and to how everything is shaped by everything it touches: people, places, and all that lives in between.

When you meet Razane, you feel it quickly: she has the kind of warmth that makes you feel like you've known her for years. She brings that same energy to the mat: open, curious, and genuinely happy to be there with you.

She completed her 200-hour YTT and joined Shakti Studio shortly after. Her classes are playful and low-pressure. No performance, no perfect poses. Just movement that feels good.
