Shakti Karma Yoga

At Shakti, we believe that yoga is for everyone. Our Karma Yoga program is a way to make that vision real while nurturing a strong and supportive community.

Karma Yoga is the practice of offering your time and energy in service. In return, you receive access to unlimited classes, exclusive discounts and perks, as well as a deeper sense of belonging within the studio.

Your Role

As a Karma Yogi, you help keep the studio flowing with ease and warmth by offering 3.5 - 4 hours of service each week. Tasks may include:

  • Making tea and refilling the water station

  • Checking students in at the front desk

  • Answering the phone

  • Answering questions and offering customer support

  • Cleaning the studio space after classes

  • Putting away props and maintaining the space

Each task is a small but meaningful contribution to a shared, community driven space.

*Unlimited yoga access and other perks only apply while you are actively in the program, and ends when you are no longer participating in the energy exchange.

Who This Is For

We are looking for Karma Yogis who are:

  • Bilingual (English and French)

  • Committed and reliable

  • Flexible with scheduling

  • Clear and respectful communicators

  • Can commit to 1-2 weekly shifts for a minimum of 6 months

This role is best suited for people who take initiative, show care for shared spaces, and value being part of a community driven environment.

We especially encourage and prioritize applications from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community members as part of our commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and representation.
