Tuesday Evening Hatha (Sep-Dec 2021)

Instructor: Bobby Bessey, B.Sc., E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), Yoga Teacher Trainer.
Location: Yoga Kula Co-op, Coakers Meadow Plaza, 286 Torbay Road
*Live stream registration option also available (includes access to class recording for one week after live stream). Participants are able to repeat each class later, or do on own schedule. Live stream registrants also have email access to instructor to ask questions specific to their yoga practice needs.  Only the instructor is visible on the live stream video. Students are not visible.

Mixed Level Hatha  Yoga Class Description

This is a yoga class to develop strength, flexibility and calm for all active body-types, ages, and experience levels. Active beginner students are welcome in this class. Beginner variations will be provided for all poses. Expansion variations will be demonstrated for those with more experience.  Participants must be able to easily move from sitting on a mat to standing (and vice versa) and be able to support their upper body with their hands (like when on hands and knees, or in downward dog). Individual poses may be held for a period of time, or connected to other poses in a series of flowing sequences. Everyone participates in a way that best suits their own body and experience level. Stretch, strengthen, breathe deeply and finish class with a short relaxation that will have you ready for the most restful sleep ever.

*Those absolutely new to yoga, or those working with movement limitations may find the Shakti Monday evening Yoga 101 class a more suitable choice.
